
Dr Stuart Kewley
Dr Stuart Kewley is a graduate of the University of Cambridge (MPhil andDPhil). Dr Kewley’s first academic role was as a Director of Studies at the University of Oxford. After leaving Oxford, he tookup the post of lecturer in international business and strategy at the University of Kent and then became a senior lecturer in international business and strategy at the University of the West of England. Dr Kewley has taught strategy and international business, predominantly to executives, across the World and has also acted as the module convener for the University of Ulster's (London) Strategy MBA.
An academic practitioner, in 2009, Dr Kewley founded the strategy consulting company EurasiaGlobal. The company’s core competencies lie in the areas of strategic innovation, market access strategies, and international business development. Having secured contracts worth several million dollars from the Russian and Malaysian governments to develop market access strategies for university spinouts, Eurasia Global was shortlisted for the Queen’s Award in International Business in 2015. By 2024, the consulting division, now based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, manages other companies’ market access strategies, brand visibility, and sales objectives in numerous markets, supporting clients from Switzerland, Russia, Malaysia, Brazil, Vietnam, and the USA.
In November 2020, Dr Kewley joined The University of Business and Innovation and Sustainability(UBIS) as its Senior Vice President of Partnerships and the Director of the DBA, which became one of the University’s most popular degrees. He also supported the University’s accreditation initiatives. In January 2023, Dr Kewley joined the IDM Education Group as Vice President of Strategy andInternational Development, where he increased its partnership portfolio by four new UK universities. Dr Kewley rejoined UBIS in September 2024 as the University’s Provost and is looking forward tosupporting the international growth of this highly innovative University in this exciting period of itsdevelopment.

Professor Tazeeb Rajwani
Professor Tazeeb Rajwani is Chaired Professor of International Business and Strategy and Head of Department of Strategy and International Business at Surrey Business School in University of Surrey (UK). He was previously Professor of International Business and Strategy, Director of Executive Education, Director of Postgraduate Programmes, member of the Senior Management team and member of the Advisory Board at University of Essex. Prior to joining Essex, he was an Associate Professor (Reader) in Strategic Management, Director of Executive MBA and Director of Creating Strategic Advantage (CSA) Executive Programme at Cranfield School of Management, one of Europe’s leading business schools. His current research examines how firms use non market strategies to influence different stakeholders to improve firm-level performance. His work appears in Organisation Science, Journal of World Business, Academy of Management Perspectives, Global Strategy Journal, Strategic Organisation, Journal of Business Ethics, International Business Review,and Management International Review, among others. His research has also been covered in the media, such as the FT, The Times and BBC. He is Associate Editor of Multinational Business Review and is on the editorial board of British Journal of Management. He received his Ph.D. in Strategic Management from Imperial College London.

Dr Lucia Corsini
Dr Lucia Corsini is an Associate Professor and Head of the Circular Economy and Sustainability Labat the Department of Engineering Science, University of Oxford. With extensive experience insustainable design, circular economy, and digitalisation, she leads the Circular Electrical andElectronics Project, which focuses on creating a low-carbon circular economy for electrical andelectronic equipment. Her work addresses critical global challenges by reducing dependency onrare and critical minerals through innovative research and practical solutions.Dr Corsini has held various academic and industry roles, including positions at Brunel UniversityLondon and the University of Cambridge. She has received over £2.1 million in research funding,demonstrating her leadership in projects spanning sustainability, engineering, and manufacturing.Beyond academia, Dr Corsini serves as a Board Trustee for the Internet of Production Alliance andhas consulted on sustainable practices for international organisations, including the UNIDO andWorld Economic Forum. Her expertise bridges academic research and real-world impact, makingher a sought-after speaker and thought leader.

Professor Pinar Ozcan
Professor Pinar Ozcan is a Professor of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and the Academic Director of the Oxford Entrepreneurship Centre and the Oxford Future of Finance and Technology (Fintech)Initiative. She advises regulatory authorities like the Bank of England, UK Competition and Markets Authority, and the European Commission on entrepreneurship and fintech. Professor Ozcancompleted her PhD at Stanford University, where she also directed key executive programmes and seminars.Her research has earned her numerous awards,including the Excellence in Research Award at IESE,the British Academy Newton Grant, and recognition from Poets and Quants as a Top 40 Business School Professor under 40. She was also named to the global Thinkers 50 list and the Global Womenin Fintech Powerlist. Professor Ozcan has a background in management consulting with Siemens and strategy consulting in Silicon Valley.

Mr Samuel Conway
Mr Samuel Conway is an experienced entrepreneur, mentor, and non-executive director with a diverse background in deep tech, sports technology, software development, and business consulting across multiple regions, including Australia, the UK, Asia, and the US. With an MBA from Flinders University and extensive experience in strategic planning, venture capital fundraising, and corporate governance, he has led several successful startups, including Zegami, a University of Oxford spinout. Mr Conway’s expertise lies in transforming innovative ideas into thriving businesses and providing strategic guidance to early-stage ventures. Currently, he serves as an Entrepreneur in Residence at Cardiff University and is actively involved in various mentoring roles, including with Oxentia and PoblCommunications, helping startups navigate the commercialization process and achieve sustainable growth.

Dr Bryan Zhang
Dr Bryan Zhang is an impact-driven founder, researcher, board-level advisor, independent chair and NED with a global track record and expertise in technology-enabled financial innovation and related policy, regulatory, supervisory and infrastructure innovation. He is a Co-Founder and the Executive Director of the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance (CCAF) at the University of Cambridge Judge Business School. The CCAF conducts FinTech market research in 190+ countries covering marketplace lending, digital assets, digital payments and open banking etc. Dr Bryan Zhang has co-authored more than 50 some of the most impactful industry and policy reports on financial and regulatory innovation nationally, regionally and globally. The CCAF collaborates closely with more than 200 central banks and regulatory authorities onevidence-based research, regulatory and supervisory innovation. Its online capacity building andeducation programmes has trained more than 2,600 central bankers, regulators and policymakersfrom 300 financial authorities in 150 countries around the world. In August, 2022, the FCA and PSR,the Co-Chairs of the Joint Regulatory Oversight Committee (JROC) appointed Dr Bryan Zhang asthe Independent Chair of a Strategic Working Group (SWG) to provide industry and stakeholder withinsights to help shape the future development of Open Banking. Dr Bryan Zhang joined the Board ofthe Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in February 2024 for an initial three-year term as a Non-Executive Director.Dr Bryan Zhang is also a member of Bank of England’s CBDC Engagement Forum, IMF's FASAdvisory Group, OECD's Informal Steering Group on SME & Entrepreneurship Finance, DubaiInternational Financial Centre’s (DIFC) Innovation Panel and the Bretton Woods Committee. He co-chairs the Future of Global FinTech Initiative, a collaboration between CCAF and the World EconomicForum. He was also a final round judge for the joint RBI-BIS G20 TechSprint on cross-borderpayments held in Mumbai. Dr Bryan Zhang is a Co-Founder of Financial Innovation for Impact (Fii),an international not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the acceleration of regulatory, supervisoryand infrastructure innovation globally. Dr Bryan Zhang has delivered more than 100 public lecturesand keynote presentations in international industry, academic and policy forums. He was educatedat Cambridge and Oxford Universities.

Dr Tanja Collavo
Dr Tanja Collavo acts as Course Director for the Master’s in Sustainability Leadership, Flexible Route and for the Postgraduate Certificate (Organisational Stream) and Postgraduate Diploma in Sustainable Business. She has taught and tutored courses in social entrepreneurship, strategy, general management and collaborations, and has knowledge of design and systems thinking as processes to develop sustainable solutions to complex social and environmental issues. Before joining Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL), Dr Collavo has supported collaborations between researchers and businesses, and worked in automotive consulting, and in sales and accounting functions at multinational corporations. Her main areas of expertise are in social entrepreneurship, sustainable/social business models, collaborations, and strategy. In 2022, Dr Collavo published the textbook “Foundations of Social Entrepreneurship: Theory, Practical Tools and Skills”.

The session by Dr Tanja Collavo on "Introduction to Strategic Sustainability Transitions" will provide an overview of sustainability and its historical development. Dr Laurence Wainwright
Dr Laurence Wainwright is Course Director of the MSc in Sustainability, Enterprise and theEnvironment and a Departmental Lecturer. A teaching and learning oriented academic, Dr Wainwright has been teaching and researching at universities in Australia, Sweden, the UnitedStates, and United Kingdom since 2011. He is passionate about the holistic development of the students he teaches and helping them to develop into well-rounded individuals with a mindset ofintellectual curiosity and courage, continuous self-improvement, and service to a mission beyond themselves. He has received several prizes and citations for his teaching, as well as appearing onlists recognising high scores in student feedback surveys. Dr Wainwright's research interests and teaching areas are multidisciplinary and diverse. They include sustainability and corporate social responsibility; mental health impacts of climate change; strategy, management, leadership; and precision psychiatry, psychopharmacology and drug repurposing. In addition to his role in the Smith School, Dr Wainwright is a Research Fellow at Green Templeton College, a Skoll Early Career Research Fellow in the Saïd Business School, and a Contributor Researcher and Facilitator in the Department of Psychiatry. A Member of Smith School Leadership and Management Teams and School of Geography Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Dr Wainwright also serves as an external examiner at several leading British universities, is an adjunct reviewer for several journals and has served as a grant reviewer for the Swedish Energy Agency. In 2022, Dr Wainwright received an Oxford University Excellence Award. Additionally, he was anominee for the Vice Chancellor’s Staff Sustainability Award. Dr Wainwright completed his doctoral studies in Business Administration at the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. His PhD thesis used the contextual domain of the Swedish fishing industry inorder to consider how contests to organisational legitimacy manifest around sustainability debates. Eighteen months of this programme was spent at the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business, and an additional six months across multiple universities in China, Denmark, Italy and the Netherlands. Dr Wainwright also holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Development from Uppsala University, a Master of Education from the Queensland University of Technology, and a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education Teaching and Learning, Bachelor of Accounting and Bachelor of Business (Honours) from the University of Technology Sydney.
